Go ahead and laugh!
Genesis 17:15-19; 18:9-15; 21:1-7

 

Go ahead and laugh!  But just when you think that you can’t do anything for Him anymore, He’s got a plan through you that will blow you away.

 

“Even in laughter the heart may ache…” Proverbs 14:13

 

1.       Their laughter was a cover-up for their heartache.

 

A.               Laughter covered her shame

 

B.      Laughter covered their disappointment with God!

 

C.      Laughter covered their unbelief

 

 

“Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
"The LORD has done great things for them."

The LORD has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:2-3

 

2.       Their laughter revealed the joy that God worked through them!

 

A.      Laughter revealed her joy in being chosen

 

B.      Laughter revealed their joy that God acted when they couldn’t
