Our Children’s Ministry is designed to help kids think about scripture and learn how to apply it to their lives. Our teaching is strongly Biblical and presented in fun and upbeat ways. Parents, you are the most important influence on your children. Together we are a team helping train your child in the way he or she should go. We need and value your involvement. It is my privilege to teach, laugh, learn and pray with your children. I also consider it an honor to get to know you, discuss concerns, share joys and pray for your burdens.
Together for HIS Kids, Pastor Randy

Classes For Your Children To Be Involved In:
Kids’ Church (First – Sixth Graders) Sunday Mornings – 10am In this interactive environment, kids are challenged by Pastor Randy to apply God’s Word to their own life through Bible stories, puppets, object lessons and video clips. Kids begin church with the adults and are dismissed at a specific time to go to Kids’ Church.
Elementary, Dear Watson (First – Sixth Graders) Sunday Mornings – 9am This group is designed for those kids who want to attend a small class before morning worship.
Sunday School (First – Sixth Graders) Sunday Evenings – 6pm Children meet in grade-specific groups with caring and godly leaders. In addition to study time, this setting allows your child to build significant friendships with children their own age.
Power Place (First – Sixth Graders) Wednesday Evenings – 7pm This midweek opportunity combines large group Bible study with small group discussions and mixes in games for an extra sizzle!
Developing Christ-Like Character Beyond the Clasroom:
Bible Quizzing (First – Sixth Graders) Quizzing involves an in-depth study of a book of the Bible and takes place during the school year. The kids study together on Sundays at 10:45 and participate in scheduled local and state competitions.
Good News Club (Kdg –Fifth Graders) Henderson Elementary School For one hour (4-5pm) a week anyone who is interested may join this FREE after school club. Kids participate in songs, games, Bible stories, memory verses and snacks.
Musicals & Dramas (First – Sixth Graders) These seasonal productions give kids an opportunity to really ham it up through fun, action-oriented songs and memorable skits. As the kids learn their parts, they grasp the Biblical foundation of the production and begin to put it into practice in their own life.
Puppetry (Fourth – Sixth Graders) Another creative and active way that kids can have fun while learning. Puppetry adds a teaching element of serving others.
Summer Camps (Third – Sixth Graders) Pinecrest / Fredericktown, MO Middler Camp and Preteen Camp, offered every summer for five days, provide intense Bible learning, worship, team building and a whole lot of Fun!
Talent Festival (Kdg– Sixth Graders) We believe God gave everyone a gift and even our youngest should begin developing and exhibiting their skills. Usually held in the Spring, this annual festival includes categories such as Art, Cooking, Bible Memorization, Drama, Vocal and Instrumental.
Tech Crew (Fifth – Sixth Graders) Preteens can choose to learn how to operate Sound, Lights & Computer in order to serve during kids’ services.
Trunk or Treat (Preschool– Sixth Graders) This event, filled with fun and candy, offers a safe environment for your kids to dress in costume and gather treats. We encourage kids to invite their friends. Usually Trunk or Treat is held the Sunday evening before Halloween.
Vacation Bible School (Preschool – Sixth Graders) This exciting week of fun brings the culture and characters from Bible times alive. The kids experience the “marketplace” along with interactive story time, crafts, games and snacks. The preschoolers are separate from the elementary age kids and have the similar kinds of activities appropriate for their age. VBS takes place Monday-Friday in the evenings and is usually held sometime in June!
Note: We take the care and safety of your children very seriously. Every individual working with Nursery, Children and Teens must submit to a national security screening process for approval before working with your children.
